SPELLING

Spelling does not have a daily lesson guide on our website.  It is the same routine every week and here it is (begin with unit 1 in your HBJ Spelling book) :

Monday  

1. Read the words and write them 5 times each.  
2. Read the selection on the first page (next to the spelling list).

Tuesday    

1. Write the Spelling Practice exercises on the second page of the unit. 

Wednesday   

1. Write the answers to "Spelling and Language." 
2. Write the answers to  "Spelling on Your Own."

Thursdays   

1. Write the words 5 times each..
2. Dictate the words for student to spell them - (this is a practice test).

Fridays - TEST DAY!!!  

1. Dictate the week's spelling list for you to write them all correctly. Each word on the test is worth 5 points - if you miss one you will make a 95.  miss 2 and you will get a 90 and so on.
