Regular Cost of Enrollment and Tuition

RED OAK ACADEMY TUITION IS CURRENTLY DISCOUNTED TO HOME SCHOOL FAMILIES* (see press release):

$50.00 Non-refundable Setup fee

$1650.00 Annually - Payable in 10 Monthly Installments. The following conditions apply:

  1. A $50.00 setup fee is required for all students at the time of enrollment.

  2. Tuition in Full or the First Monthly Installment of $165.00 is due when student begins classes or independent study activities. Monthly charges will be made on the same day of each month.

  3. Monthly installments are designed to pay the balance of the annual tuition.  Final payments on this installment plan will be in June 2011.

A $50.00 non-refundable application/setup fee is payable when you enroll.

AFTER AUG 30, 2010 - TOTAL ANNUAL FEES AND TUITION = $1700.00/$2700.00 (monthly installments are available at this time)

 

*Full Retail Price for Governmental and Quasi-governmental Entities is $3600.00, annually.

NONGRADED OPTION:
Tuition for a fulltime student is $1650 per year or $165 per month if parents grade and record student work - this includes live class participation or independent study.

GRADED OPTION:
Tuition for a fulltime student is $2650 per year or $265 per month if Red Oak Academy staff grades and records student work - this includes live class participation or independent study.

Summer School courses are also $165.00 Monthly for up to 4 courses or $265.00 (graded option).

Textbook Policy

The Red Oak Academy provides ISBN numbers to parents for all subject areas so that parents may order them through online used book sellers at their own expense.

Effective October 1, 2006: Some of these textbooks are located in the Red Oak Academy library and are available to low income families "on loan." Books from the Red Oak Academy library will be provided free of charge except for shipping costs. When students complete their use and return the textbook materials for one grade-level, the next set is delivered to the student at no additional expense - apart from a nominal shipping fee.

Refund Policy

Red Oak Academy, Inc makes every effort to insure that you are satisfied with our school and services.  However, we understand that occasionally circumstances arise that force parents to withdraw from enrollment. If this occurs, we will refund Tuition based on the following limitations:

  1. New students who terminate their enrollment within two (2) calendar days of enrollment will receive a full tuition refund. To cancel an enrollment, you must fax or send the withdrawal form to the Red Oak Academy office informing us of your withdrawal.

  2. Students who terminate their enrollment after two (2) calendar days must fax or send the withdrawal form to Red Oak Academy. We must receive notification (via fax or mail) within 30 days advance of the bill date in order to cancel enrollment.

  3. There are no refunds for any portion of any month where student performed work or attended classes.  The following month's tuition will be suspended within 30 days after the receipt of the ROA withdrawal form.

  4. Grade reports and transcripts will be withheld until all accounts are cleared at withdrawal.

  5. A signed and completed withdrawal form is required 30 days in advance to prevent billing of the next month's tuition.  The withdrawal form is located at

  6. * Due to annual planning and budgetary needs, families who have paid in advance for the entire year (10 months), are allowed five (5) calendar days from the date of enrollment to request a refund.

  7. Red Oak Academy will attempt to terminate monthly billing ASAP for families who are forced to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances.  However, any arbitrary failure to provide advanced notice of withdrawal may result in delays in the termination of billing and the delivery of transcripts/report cards.

  8. All refunds will be issued by check only.  If conditions are met, a check will be issued for the refund on the 15th of the following month. A withdrawal form must be received before any refund is issued.
